i see heroes as another form of storage.. and many of my heroes are equipped with gold drops and green drops that ive been collecting since i started playing GW and the same goes for all my runes.. lol had two character mules for runes.. yes i am a packrat.. and eesh with the prices of certain runes nowadays im glad that ive kept em.. + it's cool to see my dudes equipped with these weaps that i hardly use. So for a new player or whatever that have to pay for hero weaps sucks but all i can say is play play play.. rinse and repeat.. soon ull have a nice collection of goodies..

Maybe they "spend" their money on their armour that upgrades every level... And who really cares, I gave my heros the drops I got from the free chests and 5 mins worth of chest running, hell my Koss uses my old Req 10 Crystalline. I dont think it makes that much a difference as their builds own hench builds anyway

heros are good to store all your gold/grn weapons on. two fold advantage if you trick em ont w/ runes and good skills

I have a zhed w/ sf and love to watch him fry em up.

on a side note i feel as though my hero's are a part of my character and grind for perfect mods and skins for them to show off to my friends. personally i agree they could use the weapons they come with and i only change them to make them look as good as my character.

oh why do heros have to be sooo expensive? why do they have to take share of the drops? why why why!

get over it. like so many before me just throw on some white max dmg weapoin with mods you scrap off something..you dont have to havereq 7 elemental swords for all your warriors or other melee classes

using your drops is taking your money, thats my point. why cant they use their own money? they earn just as much as us.

Because they're NPCs. Their gold go into the black hole where all the NPC gold goes. Its the price of using NPCs instead of adventuring with actual people.

Well if heros can use all of the skills unlocked in pvp, why not have them use the pvp equipment tab too? Makes perfect sense to me.

maybe for u.. it's taking ya money.. but not for me.. because as i wrote earlier... these gold/green drops are weapons ive collected and want to keep for whatever weird reason..
